One square at a time, silently, & upside-down... yeah, try getting 7th Graders to do any of those 3 things! Hoping to teach them about value (AKA shading) by using artist Chuck Close’s grid-method. Here’s my demo/example so far.
Day 2; May need to re-work the skull since the rib care is so large. Ugh. Hard to get students to even try on this one. I get that it’s a daunting task. I probably won’t work on mine tomorrow so I can go around lighting fires under proverbial kiesters. Wish me luck.
Took an old cross-contour of one of my cacti 🌵 & monkeyed with it in three different apps.
